– WOW! An incredible hour of beautiful storytelling through poetry, sharing the mind-boggling complexities of a strong woman suffering the indignities of misogyny, racism, motherhood, underemployment, and worst of all, the U.S. immigration system and the labyrinth designed to lose applicants in the bowels of its bureaucracy. Ultimately, it is hopeful, and you will walk out celebrating the power of a determined individual who refuses to be defeated.
